Hoppin’ Deals
There are so many hippity hoppity deals this week and not just for Utah BTW. I wanted to highlight a few things that I felt were important to share this week. Feel free to ad anything else you’ve found that is a great deal this week.
First:
Make sure you checked your Sunday paper for the following inserts.
- 1 Red Plum
- 2 Smart Source
- 1 P&G
- 1 Unilever
The Unilever was a special insert with a great rebate offer that will save you ton’s especially if you combine it with the sale at Albertson’s this week. This is what it looked liked.
Next Tuesday I will break this deal down. To make it simple, for now you have two offers going this week.
- At Albertson’s there is a special which is if you spend $25 in a single transaction on the specified products (please see the List to see the products and coupon locations) you will get $10 toward meat INSTANTLY! To use this wisely your best meat choice is to get a Ham or Turkey, read on to see why (okay so maybe you are already getting your Advanced lesson today!)
- With the Unilever packet from Sunday there is a rebate form that you can fill out and mail into the company with your store receipts showing a $40 Unilever product purchase as well as a purchase of a Ham or Turkey (these purchases can be via multiple shopping trips/receipts) then the company will send you a check for the purchase price of your Ham or Turkey up to $20. To see what products qualify under this Unilever rebate visit this link
You will also find instructions and information about this rebate and Albertson’s savings offer on the List. I am all excited just writing about it!!
Second:
So get this Albertson’s is also running a promo that just started today (4/9), when you spend $25 or more between the 9th and the 12th using your Albertson’s preferred card you will get two 10% off coupons printed at the register for you to use over then next two weeks! (limit of two coupons PER transaction, meaning each time you pay you will get two coupons to use if you spend $25 or more during the next 4 days!) Now when you redeem the coupons you can only redeem one per transaction. You will see a page that looks like this
In your Sunday paper from the 5th. Now to just show you all how nice I am here is a list of all the papers that distributed this ad which means that if you see your paper listed then your store is running this promo!

Again Albertson’s is offering a great reason to pre-pay for your groceries. If you purchase a $250 Albertson’s gift card they will add $20 to it for free. If you purchase a $300 gift card they will add $30 to it. You can purchase up to $1250 in gift cards with this deal. The offer is good until Tax Day, April 15th. Here is the official info from Albertson’s. After using your card the receipt will print with your gift card balance. ( I am assuming this is valid in all Albertson’s store since this offer can also be found on their official website, with purchase from their website as well.)
Fourth:
I noticed some good deals for a few family apporved movies at Smith’s Marketplace. When you combine the sale price of $7.99 and a $3 off coupons from Group B on these movies your end price is $4.99 Plus there is a $3 off coupon for Marley and Me on specially marked dvd’s ( I am unsure if any of the ones I mention here have that special mark. Just look on the package if you choose to buy one of them.) The movies shown in the ad below with coupons also are; Cheaper By The Dozen, Cheaper By The Dozen 2, Robots, Because of Winn Dixie, Garfield, Garfield 2, All Dogs Go to Heaven.

You can see the ad with more DVD titles at this link.

The10% off rewards count even before coupons. My total oop was 16.xx and I still got the 2 10% coupons printed out. Pretty cool!
There’s absolutely no reason not to use coupons. I’ve become very fond of them, especially lately with prices in the grocery skyrocketing. Why wouldn’t you use coupons, its like free money!
