  1. so…how did you get the sprite for free?

  2. Wow! You always have such amazing savings. I went to Albertson’s as well, but I didn’t do as well as you. I love your blog.

  3. I have one question, do you do more than one ticket if you spend $20 so that you get the $4 off twice?

  4. Crystal,
I got the Sprite free when I bought 3 Chex cereals (I used a coupon on the cereals) you would get 4- 2 liters of Coke products. I am in charge of drinks for a YW christmas party so I choose Sprite as apposed the the caffinated varieties. This is a great deal even if you don’t have a coupon because you get 7 items and the end price is $7. That makes everything $1 each. Of course it is even better with a coupon which made all 7 items .79 each.

  5. Chalet,

I only went through the register once. It would be benificial to place your items on the conveyor in groups of $10 that way you can watch to be sure the $4 came off. This will take a little more time but it will be worth it in the end. You will be able to catch things that my have been the wrong size or not part of the sale and be sure you get the best savings. I let my checker know what I was doing and she helped me watch for the discount too. Then of course I just gave her all the coupons at the end. It was great. Good luck!

  6. I know you like to shop at Albertsons (and I see why!) I was thinking about trying to pick up some items I missed at the sale earlier. In your experience, does Albertsons tend to restock during the week or do you really need to get there at the beginning of the sale?

  7. Katie,
If the stores run out of items that I want I usually ask the manager when they expect it will be restocked. I’ve noticed with Albertsons that they tend to do a mid sale restock on Saturday’s. I hope this helps. Don’t forget to ask for a raincheck on the items that they run out of. The store will tell you if you can get a rain check for a particular item or not.
